My name is Marcus (Leon) Seger I Was with the 551st Lt Mnt Co at Black Horse from April 69 to Nov.69. While there I volunteered to work at Graves Registration at the same base, the Va says that there is nothing in my records proving that I worked at GR. I have some pictures of myself and a good friend named Mike Payne (which also voluntered) at the GR building. I am trying to find anyone that might know him or me to varify that I did work at the GR, to back a claim with the VA. The GR was opperated by the 506th S&S Co.I was E3 at the time. As far as names I can only remember a couple of last names at the 551st Lt Mnt.Co. There were two black guys in the 551st that shared the same space I think one of them's last name was Willams and the other ones last or first name was Scurry. So far I am not having any luck finding anyone that was there. Mike and myself while at GR lived at the GR building 24/7. I did find a map of Black Horse base and found the 551st and the 506th S&S area. After the 551sst I was reassigned to the 590th Lt Mnt Co at BearCat.for 7 months I extened for 6 months came home on a 30 day leave then went back to the 590th only to find out that they had deactivated while I was home on leave was reassigned to the 135th Lt Mnt Co. at Long Binh for the next 6 months them derosed to the 11th calv. at Fort Meade Maryland ,ets.
